The Accidental Superstar by Marianne Levy
When a video of Katie Cox singing in her bedroom goes viral, Katie cannot believe her luck. When she get's approached Top Music, a record label, she is ecstatic. But with her mum finding a boyfriend, her dad overseas and all her friends slowly growing further away from her, will she be able to stay a superstar?
Accidental Superstar was a bit of a letdown. The plot was meh, it was not particularly well written and the characters were unexceptional. None of it really stood out to me. Having said that, there were a few good moments, such as the end (don't worry, no spoilers).
I think I am going to give it a 6/10
and an age rating of 9+
