Thief

Thief by Malorie Blackman

When Lydia joins a new school, she just wants to fit in. But then the leader of the popular group tells Lydia that she can join if she takes the school sports cup, Lydia knows its stealing. But then, somehow, the cup end up in her locker. People start calling Lydia names, and soon she is isolated from the rest of her school friends. Then, a freak storm send Lydia into the future, and she finds out why the cup was stolen, and how it came t be put in Lydias locker.

I liked this book because it was thrilling and quite fast paced. I also like the fact that it was sort of sci fi. The plot fitted together really well. I  also liked the the characters, specifically Lydia and her brother.

I am going to give it a 9/10
and an age rating of 9+
